Dive Points
Illa Massa d'Or
Considered by many to be the best dive in the Park, it is located in front of the Cap de Creus lighthouse and represents the easternmost part of the Pyrenees. It is an area where currents from the interior of the Mediterranean converge, which has facilitated the formation of a small ecosystem with a myriad of different pelagic and benthic species.

These currents, sometimes unexpected and rapid, are a challenge for the most experienced divers, which helps to protect you from the crowds in the area during the high season. In short, it is aquatic wilderness in its purest form.
Es Forcats
The Forcats point is located in Cala Jugadora, a protected fishing area within the Natural Park. It is a very good alternative to the days of Tramontana, and is made up of three islets separated by channels.
As you descend, the wall forms elongated terraces where you can find different species. The route offers different possibilities, suitable for different levels. It is worth mentioning the immense shoals of bream that slip between the passages of the islands and, in cold weather, we can find some camouflaged anglerfish on the terraces.
Messina Island
A dive site with many variations and for different levels. There are plenty of bream and gilthead bream, dense shoals of barracuda, walls of gorgonia with the odd surprise in the form of an antenna (lobster) and, under the large stones that form the bottom, we find the largest moray eels in the whole of Cap de Creus.
Among other routes, the one that ends in a sand corridor delimited by two rock walls populated by gorgonians, "in the manner of a magazine..." stands out.
Pelegrí Cave
The Cova del Pelegrí is a majestic cave that protects the dive from the prevailing winds and currents and, together with the cliffs that form it, is one of the most typical landscapes of the Costa Brava.
Once inside, there are countless holes between the rocks and the small caves that form the cliffs, so the use of a torch is highly recommended. The convenience of always having a reference wall to go up or down makes it an easy route, although it is important to keep an eye on the depth and not get distracted by the depth.
La Reparada
It is basically a continuation of a cliff. The dive starts on a large coral plain at about 20-25m, with some loose rocks for reference.
At a certain point the floor ends and transforms into a completely vertical wall that descends almost 30 metres more, reaching a depth of over 50 m. It is a wall full of holes through which numerous lobsters and the odd conger eel peep out. It is a wall full of holes through which numerous lobsters and the odd conger eel can be seen. An advanced level dive. It is essential to carry a torch.
El Gat
Located at the tip of Cap Norfeu, which is also part of the Cap de Creus Natural Park, El Gat is named after the shape it has on the surface.
The dive takes place around rock spires full of gorgonia that descend to a depth of more than 50m. It is a dive in which there is usually a current, so there is a great variety of both benthic and pelagic species. Always at a certain distance and without losing sight of us, the presence of a grouper with a large scar, nicknamed "the Napoleon", stands out.
The Bau of the Tower
Majestic rock in the middle of the sea, which rises from a depth of around 50 m and rises, as if it were a tower, to a depth of 10 m.
The eastern side is almost entirely covered by gorgonians of different colours, which, together with bream and barracuda, form an unforgettable landscape.
